MPLS-IP Configuration Mode Commands

 

 

The MPLS-IP Configuration Mode is used for configuration of MPLS IP forwarding specific parameters. This mode is entered from Context Configuration Mode.

 

 

end

Exits the current configuration mode and returns to the Exec mode.

Return to the Context Configuration mode.

 

protocol

This command creates/removes the MPLS protocol family configuration modes or configures an existing protocol and enters the MPLS-LDP Configuration Mode in the current context. This command configures the protocol parameters for MPLS protocol family.

Syntax

[no] protocol ldp

no

Removes the configured MPLS-LDP mode from MPLS-IP Configuration mode.

ldp

Specifies the type of MPLS protocol to LDP and creates/enters the MPLS-LDP Configuration Mode for LDP specific configuration in MPLS-IP configuration instance.

Usage

Use this command to create/remove the MPLS protocol family configuration mode or configure an existing protocol. If requried mode already exists it enters the MPLS-LDP Configuration Mode in the current context.

Entering this command results in the following prompt:

[context_name]hostname(config-ldp)#

Example

The following command creates and enters the MPLS-LDP Protocol mode for Label Distribution Protocol parameters in MPLS-IP Configuration instance:
